Potholes in road surface
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 13:26, Tue 13 November 2012
Sent to North Somerset Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 290227.
Road surface is breaking up on carriageway travelling into Portishead towards High Street. The damaged road surface is hazardous for cyclists and motorcyclists alike, given the width and length of the 'crevass' type potholes visible. This has been previously reported in 2011 but no remedial action has ever been taken to date.

The ever expanding ruts and pothole(s) are still being ignored by this lackadaisical council.

Just started scootering to/from work to save parking costs, congestion, fuel costs, and CO2. Alarmed to discover how dangerous this road surface is for two-wheeled users (though as a four-wheeled user you would never notice any problems). Council, if you don't fix this and an accident happens, you could be sued for negligence as you have had two years now to fix it. PLEASE do something to protect our lives.
