  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the gullies outside Banbury Road; specifically that you feel there are drains blocked in the area and are causing flooding. We can confirm the drains were inspected on 29th of July in dry conditions and there was no visible blockage. Most of these gullies were cleansed on 24th of June, so therefore this is probably a capacity issue with recent heavy downpours. Whilst we appreciate your comments, we can confirm that there are no immediate safety concerns evident. If a flooding emergency occurs, please do not hesitate to contact us on daytime number (08.00-17.00) 0300 126 1000 or for our out of hours team 01604 651074 and this will be treated as a priority.
