Leaves from tree on our front getting to be a nuisance

A tree that has been in front of our property for longer than we have (we moved to our address in 1987) has now become a nuisance due to its growth and leaves ! We find that due to the closeness of this tree and high winds in the area , the leaves are causing us blockages in our guttering on the front of our bungalow and even on the back on the patio, this is not only in autumn but all year , we feel its time for a really good lop or replacement like others in our area ! Bird mess is also a problem on the pavement from birds in the tree , a lot of elderly people on their walks have commented on this, Can you please look into this problem , Thank you Janet and Mike Nolan
