Overgrown verges blocking clear road access and sight
Reported via mobile in the Trees overhanging highways category anonymously at 20:14, Tue 27 July 2021
Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2895655.
The verges down Ketts Lane have grown dangerously high and out into the carriage way. Verge scrub is brushing against vehicles whilst driving down the road and has grown so high you can not safely see oncoming traffic on the bends. There are no passing places and the overgrown verges mean it is unsafe to reverse and pass

Job still not done. Dangerous road left because it’s rural. Will have to buy equipment myself to do it I expect. What do I pay council tax for!

Not done. Cars damaged. Council say they have sent a letter to land owner (there are actually a few for the hedge) don’t see how that makes a difference as it’s the road it’s blocking which doesn’t effect them. The verges that are overgrown are also routine so when they’ll be done is unknown. Probably when I have an accident pulling out.
