Overgrown willow tree on roof of private properties, covering road safety sign as well blocking drains up.

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 12:52, Tue 20 July 2021

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later

This willow tree has not been cut or maintained by the council for over 12 years, I know that because that's how long I've been reporting it. I have contacted councillors as well. The last response I got was a few years ago saying would be trimmed or felled by April 2019 so pre covid. Now it is on my next door neighbours roof and council told her that due to covid might be 6months before they inspect it!!! They have had over a decade but choose to ignore the trees on bodmin estate other than on newer houses on bodmin hill( old children's home site). We don't want tree cutting for aesthetics but for safety and protect our own homes from damage from trees. Council want to plant more trees when they don't maintain the ones they have and unfortunately as a public sector worker myself can't afford to pay for it doing myself and to be honest I wouldn't anyway pay enough council tax .
