Dangerous parking continues
Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 19:56, Thu 15 July 2021
Sent to West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2868018.
It seems that after two years of petitioning our councillors and officers simply don't care that dangerous parking at the corner/s of Newland Mill and The Willows means that: 1) the elderly and disabled resident in the immediate area cannot safely use the dropped kerb crossings in their buggies (they are forced to venture out and around in the actual carriageway where many drivers speed ), 2) pedestrians, cyclists and cars have severely limited visibility causing regular near-misses (only, so far thank heavens - a crash could lead to a claim against the authority for sustained negligence ). Please get some yellow, or at the least white, lines installed ASAP !

As no action has been taken yet to resolve these matters of public danger over a long period, the qualifying criteria for referral to the Local Ombudsmen become clearer: please save time/ lives by demonstrable action, such as "white lining" the pedestrian dropped kerb and the curved kerbline of the junction. Thank you.
