Combined with large tree on corner parked cars and no road markings I had a near miss crash here

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 19:36, Wed 14 July 2021

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2865372.

You have already asked for the foliage to be trimmed back. However there is a problem with parked cars. The time I nearly crashed there was a parked car on the same corner as the tree. It was on Kings Walk. So I had to ease out. By the time I was about to see a van was on top of me. We nearly crashed because on overtaking the parked car he was on the wrong side of the road. In these pictures you can see a car parked horizontally across Kennedy Way exit on Kings Ealk This means cars going onto Kings Walk have to join it on the wrong side of the road Can we have some no parking lines in these places so cars can pull out safely from Kennedy Way. Plus there are no road markings at the junction such as give way or stop. Cars coming down kings walk will see the white lines and words and realise there is a road that traffic will come from I don’t want to lose my car
