Safe walkway Willow Avenue to Lords Lane

Reported via iOS in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 12:14, Tue 13 July 2021

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2861336.

I must say that an attempt to rectify this problem has been made …..but nowhere nearer to our fence I have mentioned this before enq 485345 F4T8L1 the issue is that the hedges have been allowed to grow to 12 plus feet in height in some places almost double that which are spreading through our fence and indeed spreading into footpath brambles and nettles. Some attempt has been made with a strimmer but I would have thought something heavier was needed as some of these branches and stems are very thick. These bushes come trees are not helping the wild life they are becoming a secret dumping ground for some dog walkers, we hear constantly mothers and fathers saying ‘ keep away be careful ‘ my husband is in a mobility scooter and the branches are just the right height to hit him in the face, and we quite often hear of someone else getting caught in nettles or brambles. While I understand that the work was done in good faith with a strimmer someone really needs to see exactly what can and needs to be done this would require some work but the end result could be easier to maintain in the future therefore saving money in the long run. I am more than happy to meet with someone who can understand the whole issue and have attached my phone number.
