This Problem has NOT been fixed. On 28 September engineers arrived and unblocked the road drain but this was short lived. The drain became blocked again within hours which was obvious as the burst pipe water leak at 29 Milton Close continued to flow at a high rate. The drainage engineers place sandbags at the base of the garage door at 31 Milton Close and stated that Thames Water engineers would arrive within a couple of hours to fix the leak - but that did not happen. At 2200hrs last evening the 90 year old lady and her unwell husband at 31 Milton Close were brushing water from their garage, water that contained ‘muck’ from the sandbags. I advised the elderly couple not to fight the water due to their health but the incident has caused considerable stress and anxiety. I was so concerned that I notified Thames Valley Police and spoke to, David C78, but he said there was little the police could do but pointed out the problem should be given a high priority. So please take immediate action to fix this blocked drain.
