Large rubbish items dumped over the railings

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping category anonymously at 18:23, Thursday 8 July 2021

Sent to Lincoln City Council less than a minute later

Over the past two years I have seen an increase in the amount of large junk thrown/dumped over these railings into the hedge. Such as; a trampoline, a double bed frame, a cooker, a baby car seat, dozens of cans bottles and various other objects. It’s a real mess, along a pedestrian public right of way at the end of Russell Street. None of it has ever been cleared. The trampoline has been there for 2 years+.

Updates

  • A bike with no wheels has now been attached by its chain to the railings. Seems to be quite acceptable for some to dump their rubbish along there.

  • Although the bike with no wheels attached to railings has gone, the trampoline, bed frame, baby seat and heaps of other rubbish which has been there for months/years is still present.

  • Absolutely no change. And I have also been walking along that path cleaning the litter myself.
