Dangerously slippery road surface at roundabout

Reported in the Roads/highways category by K MILLS at 12:34, Sun 14 October 2012

Sent to Halton Borough Council less than a minute later

This road surface is getting worse. It seems to have been worn smooth by the countless articulated lorries that use this route to access Manor Park. Even in the dry, the surface has no grip, in the wet it is literally dangerous. I have witnessed many cars losing control on that right turn and have done so myself. I have seen the aftermath of accidents where cars have left the road, gone down the embankment onto the footpath and had to be towed out. Please do something about this. Perhaps an anti-slip road surface or ban large lorries as I'm sure that this is the root cause.
