Pot hole on Zebra crossing

The pothole has been on the zebra crossing for a long while now. Today, while walking my son to school, crossing the zebra crossing and moving to the side to allow school kids to pass me easier, my left foot fell down it and caused serious injury to myself. I was taken to hospital for a suspected broken ankle as my foot was severely swollen on both sides. After a few x-rays to assess the damage, luckily there was no break but it was a very bad sprain for which I am now off work for 2 weeks having needed crutches to assist me walking. The Zebra Crossing in question is located in the middle of 2 busy junctions. It could do with being re-surfaced as the entire area is cracking and crossing is fading.
