Barbed wire on footpath

Sent to Hampshire County Council and Test Valley Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2816842.

Fence adjacent to footpath has been neglected for some time and fallen in to footpath, with barbed wire now exposed on pathway. Danger to dogs, children and adults.

  • The issue remains, and appears due to the failure to maintain the Field perimeter fencing, and this collapsing on to the footpath.

  • There is still no progress evident on removing the barbed wire or re-instating of the fence to which it was originally attached.

  • Footpath now increasingly overgrow, fence collapsed and barbed wire remains a safety hazard. No progress on clearance or resolution of the original field fence line and intrusion on to the public right of way.
