Overgrown vegetation and deep potholes

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 22:22, Tue 22 June 2021

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2811745.

The section of the DownsLink between Slinfold and the connection to the bridleway for Baystone Copse is badly potholed in multiple places. The vegetation is so overgrown in places that it is barely 50 cm wide, and certainly nothing like the original track width. As this is a heavily used section linking Christ's Hospital, Broadbridge Heath and Slinfold can the vegetation be cleared and the path resurfaced, please.

Updates

  • Some of the vegetation has been removed but the path is still very narrow in places. No work has been done on the large potholes.
