Footway Obstructed by Hedge

Reported via Android in the Trees overhanging highways category anonymously at 16:28, Tue 15 June 2021

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2794079.

This is on Strumpshaw Road Brundall close to the crest of a rise in the road on a bend in the road. The bend and crest make the road hazardous as the sightlines are poor and pedestrians are being pushed into the roadway due to the overgrowth. This places them at risk of being struck by vehicles or being the cause of collisions.

The owner of the hedge needs to be encouraged to cut it right back to the foot way edge to restore the full width of the footway so that pedestrians can use it in safety.
