Left hand turn from main road virtually opposite my drive way

The dangerous issue is the amount of cars that make illegal left hand turns by failing to stop and they turn in off the main road at some speed without looking which has now resulted in someone hitting my car after I had pulled out of my drive and I had right of way as I was already on my side road. Often the main road just before the left turning is obstructed with parked cars further hindering the view for left hand turners. This side road is also often frequented with school children or nursery age children which makes this very dangerous and it needs to be blocked off.

    This left hand turn is dangerous and needs to be blocked off. There are already two entrances, one at the top and one and the bottom so this one is not needed and often when cars are parked at busy times just before the main road left turn this hinders the view and drivers are not stopping before turning.
