Landslide of mud onto pathway.

When it rains mud from the embankment in front of my house comes down onto the pathway and also runs down onto my property when it is raining. I have complained about this several times and the last correspondence I had was in September 2020 and I was informed the following by email : "I confirm I have written to the landowner regarding the issue of the mud from the embankment which has been an on going problem and have requested that they take measures to stop this happening and to advise the Council what action they will be taking with a timescale for this work" I would like to know why it is taking so long to get an answer and if this problem is going to be rectified.
