Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2781896.
This tree is now approximately 6 feet from our bedroom window , despite multiple times we have addressed this with highways they have still disregarded our concerns , birds nest in the tree and due to close proximity to our house we are daily met with bird excrement The tree is currently secreating sap so the house the windows the doors and my £30.000 car can only be described as a fly paper we have suggested that we get it cut back so to make our life nicer but we’re told that if we did we would be breaking the law. We requested that our garden waste bin be paid for by the owners of the tree as it is filled with the leaves from the tree for 6 months of the year. As you can appreciate this tree is causing us unwanted stress we cannot have our windows open in the summer as the tree will soon go to seed and again due to the close proximity to our windows the house and windows get filled with the seeds , my washing gets sticky, this is very unfair please advise your proposed actions . We are looking to seek professional help from a solicitor if required as this is now an intolerable situation

We have recently completed an arboricultural survey of Chipping Norton. We will be issuing works to our contractors in the coming weeks and we will ask they look at this area so a priority.
