Trees obscuring safe view

Reported via mobile in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 13:16, Monday 7 June 2021

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

The trees in this area are very overgrown and making it unsafe to pull out onto the main road (Sheepy Road). They are also growing out on the path making it unsafe for pedestrians to walk by the busy main road. The bushes within the cul de sac (along the wall) are also overgrown and limiting parking availability. These bushes are not on any of the properties within the cul de sac.

  • It’s getting more difficult to see traffic when pulling out from the cul de sac onto the main road and it’s getting more difficult to walk along the path. The trees/bushes in the cul de sac (by the far wall) are making it difficult to park 3 cars (one for each house).

  • It’s now getting unsafe to pull out of the cul de sac now and to make matters worse there’s a road work sign just as you exit. You can barely see to the left and pedestrians have to go in the road to walk round the sign and the bushes are narrowing the path after.

  • I have reported to the local councillor as it’s now ridiculous. Still not been resolved. I have to request this to be done every year and it seems to need to be very unsafe before anything is done !!
