Vehicles changing lanes

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 11:55, Sun 6 June 2021 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Driving from Sunderland Avenue to the A40 towards Witney, only the outside (left-hand) lane is supposed to enter the A40. Nearly every day I have seen vehicles from the lane to the right barge their way across, cutting-up a vehicle in the outside lane. This is dangerous. You need to strengthen the road markings to make it clearer that lane 2 is for the A44, turning right. Bold hatching at the junction to make it clear that it is not to be crossed. A short time watching will show you what I am talking about.
