Another section of perimeter fencing has been broken. A number of sections are rotten and over the years some have been removed, others lay broken still. This section is now free so as reported a couple of years ago with another piece of fencing this is a danger to children who will, I'm sure, try to move it / play with it. When I last reported the very next section I was told a replacement would be provided to avoid vehicles encroaching on the green. This was never done. The gap to drive on is now very wide and right by a drop down drive. Corner of filed is outside 18-24 Farm Piece.

Updates

  • Problem still unresolved. Danger to children using the green, posts have already been moved a couple of times - I have put them back - and could allow vehicle access.

Still unresolved and a potential danger to children. Local people try to keep this road and area in nice condition but this fencing is now an eye sore and a potential danger to children. There are a number of bits now broken. Some have been removed in the past, would it be more cost effective to review all parts. See another picture from start of Farm Piece. This fence is falling apart bit by bit and at a fast rate now.

  • Still not resolved. Fully understand it is doubtful this will be addressed quickly but problem goes back years rather than the 3 months 1 week of this particular section. Rather than apply a sticking plaster the whole fence needs to be reviewed, replaced or removed to make the area look nice again - just tatty now.
