Reported via desktop anonymously at 09:13, Fri 28 May 2021

Sent to Mid Suffolk District Council and Suffolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2754358.

Kerry’s Farm Lane Recently this Lane has been used to transport heavy plant vehicles to and from the railway line, causing substantial damage to the narrow lanes banks/ road edges. The road whilst previously having a number of potholes has now started to subside in numerous places, this is down to the oversize vehicles delivering the Said if this is left untreated by this time next year there will not be a Lane,!

Updates

  • It appears that Kerry’s Farm Lane, is not important enough to be repaired at this time! As this small Lane only serves a few houses before dead ending at the railway track, it’s not high on the council’s list. However Network rail use’s this for maintenance access and it is there large vehicles that have caused the problem

  • The main damage to the road way , an area larger than an average family car, has now been repaired. But after only a few weeks this is showing signs of subsidence. However the remaining 30 plus pot holes of various sizes remain untouched
