Vans parking obstructing view when attempting to leave driveways / junctions

Sent to Folkestone and Hythe District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2751423.

Work vans are obstructing the view when attempting to pull out of driveways and also parking across the whole pavement. I am deaf and can’t hear cars coming so rely on being able to see . There is also a blind man having to step into the road due to vehicles parking across the whole kerb . Also at the end of shepway close vans are parking on the edge of junctions so can’t see when attempting to pull out .... it also leads to a building site at the moment so lorry’s are also coming down this road and isn’t going to be long before an accident happens .

  • Situation has got worse and at the crossroads between shepway close , Dawson road and archer close cars are parking on the corners hanging into the road so you can’t see at all !! Work vans down shepway close means you can’t see when leaving driveways as the road curls round .
