Extremely poor road surface

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2749327.

All along this road as it rises up out of the valley and curves round on it's way to liphook the surface is in extremely poor condition. Parts of it are so uneven, damaged and potholed that it more closely resembles a ploughed field. Although this is a minor road it gets used a lot, along with other stretches nearby and the condition is awful. It has been deteriorating for many months but suspect it was exacerbated by increased use during the massive, lengthy roadworks along the valley road last year.

    Although this has been acknowledged by the council nothing has been done. Coming home in a downpour recently, I hit a rut and damaged my car!

  • Half way though August now and still nothing done. Ruts and potholes must surely pose a real danger to bikers and cyclists in particular?
