Cafe at Croydon RoadRecreation Ground

I have lived in this area for 20 years and in that time have always questioned how the cafe at Croydon recreation ground in BR3 could be allowed to operate in the way that it does. Not only are the hours unstructured but the cafe is a disgrace in terms of presentation and products on offer. This cafe could be one of the highlight s of the park whilst having a positive impact on the local community offering visitors outside seating to allow them to congregate in an open environment.. It could be responsible for maintenance of the park toilets (which are disgusting by the way). The bottom line is that I would be interested in how the present occupier can be granted continued ownership of the cafe current basis of operation. I think there would be interest in operating this cafe on a community basis or for lease to be offered for tender. I look forward to your reply.

The café in the park is under a lease agreement and the your comments have been referred to our Property Department who manage the lease and will take up any issues with the lease-holder. Any complaints will be taken into consideration when leases are reviewed for renewal.
