2 peculiar protruding longitudinal guides demarcating edge of cycle lane
Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
I saw these this morning and wondered what they were for? The danger for cyclists not expecting such protrusions, is that they will be launched over their handlebars. They are the only two I can see. Perhaps their purpose is to discourage motorists turning left too early?

I was thrown off my bike when I hit the rubber curbs by entrance to park and ride. This injured myself and damaged my bike. The curbs were obscured by 5 cyclists just starting off from the traffic lights who carried on down the bus lane. I decided to go down the cycle path and hit the curbs. I see there are also 2 rubber curbs at entrance to Wickes road. I feel they are very dangerous and need to be removed. Michael Giles

There are also some more of these anti-bike hazards further west on the eastbound side. (presumably the traffic engineers know where they put them).
Very dangerous hazards.
They are camouflaged and there are no warning/danger signs around them.
