Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2740385.
The raised beds in the pedestrianised part of Bromley High Street now look tawdry and neglected, with more weeds than decorative horticultural plants. The neglect has occured for many many months, basically since the original planting.

Thank you for the update that a regular maintenance program will be put in place. The beds have certainly been improved by the removal of weeds. However, the beds still look very uninspiring as a centrepiece for the Borough’s premier High Street. There are many street flowerbeds and roundabouts that look much brighter for being sponsored by a local business. Would it be possible to engage a sponsor for these beds and incorporate seasonal flowering plants such as bulbs in the Spring and, say, pinks, verbena, stocks and phlox to introduce some Summer colour?
