Manhole cover again loose, on road etc

Location: on the left hand side of Knight Street (if travelling up from the Bull Public House toward the junction with Rotten Row. and A gentleman came into the Parish Council office yesterday to report that the manhole cover (which is extremely heavy) had yet again become misplaced and was on the road.

He said that on several occasions in the past he had replaced the unit but he believed it continued to dislodge due to lorries mounting and demounting the pavement. He emailed me the photograph but, unfortunately, this appears to be lost in the ether.

Could this please be looked into. If this occurs with some frequency it suggests a more robust solution should be found.
