Illegally park vehicle on grass verge

Reported via mobile in the Parking on street category anonymously at 22:45, Wednesday 19 May 2021

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

Illegally parked pick up truck on the large grass verge outside Weddington’s one stop shop. To park the vehicle here you have to mount the kerb which has been damaged numerous times by vehicles parking on the grass verge. It has become more mud than grass with large ruts so with all this damage and vehicles parking on it how do Glendale manage to maintain it, answer they don’t so what is the council going to do because it’s not just an issue with parking on the grass verge vehicles are also parking on the pavement forcing pedestrians to walk on the road or on the crowed car park, council get it sorted before someone is seriously injured or worse killed, I’ve reported this a couple of times and had no feed back.

  • Still the council haven’t done anything with the parking issue, every day there are cars blocking the foot path forcing pedestrians onto the road or car park. If this was happening near a councillors home / local shops it would be dealt with ASAP. The council are to blame for this mess they let all the extra houses be built not thinking about the impact it would have on the original Weddington area. Weddington was given money from the builders to help with the impact of more people but the council have not spent one penny of that money in Weddington and I would say the same has probably happened in other areas so ask yourself where has the money disappeared.
