Inadequate drainage

Reported via desktop in the Drainage category by Wayne Rollinson at 10:22, Tuesday 18 May 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2733133.

The drainage issues at the end of Wordsworth road have not been addressed since the major floods back in 2007 (14 years ago). Houses continue to be threatened with flooding every time there's a torrential downpour, with several having experienced flooded garages and utility rooms on numerous occasions. This issue has been repeatedly raised to the council over the years, and needs addressing as a level of priority!

  • Still nothing from the council on this. Clearly flood prevention isn’t high on the councils list, despite the fact that issues on this section of road have flooded multiple house on multiple occasions!
