  • I walked through this area this morning and it is still an utter disgrace and a very bad reflection of our council services. Also most of the area around the traffic lights area are covered with litter and general rubbish. We also have a dumped buggy padlocked up to the railings. We are also awaiting the repair or replacement of the damaged railings that were damaged over 12 months ago. Come on Guys, lets have some action and clean this area up please.

  • Bromley Council do monitor the performance of the contractor to ensure that standards are achieved and omissions of work are corrected. A significant portion of our street cleansings resource is spent in the North-West of the borough in and around Penge and Clockhouse which has the highest frequency of cleansing anywhere in the borough. Unfortunately there are those anti-social individuals who continuously litter and flytip in this area.
