Drain sinking

Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 12:05, Sun 16 May 2021

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2729039.

The area around the sewer manhole cover was patched last year but it has now started to sink one side due to heavy articulated trucks using the road. Every time a heavy truck or van goes over the drain our whole house shakes as the slope on the drain is causing an almost ‘speed bump’ shape. This is causing cracks in our property as well as considerable noise all through the night due to the uneven road caused by the sinking drain. Can the manhole cover please be levelled in line with the road surface to stop further damage to the road, damage to our property and unnecessary noise from vehicles passing over it. Many thanks.
