Removal of cats eyes has left potholes and is dangerous
Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:23, Sun 16 May 2021
Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2728743.
Many months ago (and as reported by other people) the cats eyes on the A264 between Hollywood Place and Orchard Farm were removed and quite deep holes were left in the road. Of more concern, however, is the reduced safety. This is a narrow, unlit and twisty section of road and the cats eyes were (and should be) a vital aid to drivers to help follow the centre line. To compound the issue further, the white lines are non existent too. All in all, this is a very dangerous piece of road and made worse by the lack of attention by WSCC. Please treat this with urgency and get this fixed before an accident happens.
