LED streetlight brightness

Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category anonymously at 11:53, Thursday 13 May 2021

Sent to North Yorkshire County Council less than a minute later

Ever since the streetlights were changed to LED bulbs, they have been so bright that it is like having floodlights shining at the houses on the other side of the road. As the houses sit lower than the road level, this affects both ground floor and first floor windows. Would it be possible to add a reflector shield to direct the light away from house windows and more towards just the road and footpath? Many thanks.
