Parking on double yellow lines

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 10:41, Thu 13 May 2021

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2723371.

There are parking spaces at the top of N Broadgate Lane in Horsforth. Next to them are double yellow lines up to the junction of Long Row. At school drop off time, there are consistently cars parked on the double yellow lines and today a car was parked at the junction on the wrong side of the road on Long Row. This makes it really difficult to safely take a right turn out of Long Row. It is also a safety issue for the children who walk to school and have to cross Long Row or N Broadgate Lane. This problem seems to have got worse over the last term.

Updates

  • The council replied, said it was on their list. It's not fixed but small progress.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • One on yellow lines, one blocking a driveway & one on the pavement. Broadgate lane and long row needs parking for residents. Giving out a few tickets will not sort it.
