Hello, somekind of review is required to set the correct traffic light sequence on the island of the M42 Junc 9. If you travel on the A4097 from Minworth to Junction 9 at rush hour times, the traffic lights only let 3-4 cars over at a time and that is if they can go anywhere at all, as the current traffic lights give to much priority to the traffic leaving the M42 northbound and A446 northbound, to the point that they will block the island for traffic pulling out of the A4097 lights and so no traffic can pull out at all sometimes when the A4097 lights are green!! This is causing near accidents and serious tailbacks to Curdworth with motorists just waiting for get across the lights at Junction 9. This has only started in the last 3-4 weeks, i drive this route all the time for many years, and i have never seen it so chaotic and badly managed as it is at the moment. This combined with the 2 sets of temporary traffic lights for water and gas works (Obviously someone with no common sense authorised them to do both works at the same time) on the A4097 either side of Junction 9 have made this route a complete no go zone for me which is crazy for such a well used route.
