Fri 30 Apr to Mon 03 May: Litter bins on The Green not emptied

Despite assurances from the Contract Manager that "For clarity presently we are emptying the bins and clearing litter from the paths and lawns daily which is in line with our contractual obligations" fly-tipped rubbish reported Fri 30 April - https://www.fixmystreet.com/ report/ 2700739 - remains uncollected, and open-top litter bins on The Green remain unemptied, late Mon 03 May. We have removed recyclable bottles and cans from the litter bins on a daily basis to reduce volume and avoid bins overflowing but this becomes increasingly difficult to recycle as recycling bins in Pinewood Drive were full to overflowing too. At the beginning of March we were asked to help with litter picking on The Green as idverde were struggling to cope. Will idverde be asking volunteers to empty litter bins too?
Thank you for your report, this is now being investigated. Information on our services and the timeframes we aim to respond in can be found: http://www.bromley.gov.uk/ fixservices
