Colony of pigeons in building toxic droppings everywhere

Sent to Lewisham Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2704502.

Pigeons have moved into the empty corner shop roof. There is in excess of 30 birds and its increasing. There is large amounts of droppings on the floor surrounding the shop. Pigeon droppings are toxic. They are becoming a nuisance for the surrounding properties too as the population increases.

  • Correspondence sent to the contact email you suggested. Due to it's very close proximity to a primary school (John Stainer Primary) and the health risk to humans from the toxic pigeon faeces to name the most pressing problem caused by this situation. This is an issue that needs immediate, pro-active attention and resolution.
