Parking in Warwick way

Sent to Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2704079.

As a resident of Warwick way station road Wickham. I would like to ask if the parking bays could be changed to residents only parking permit bay.. The reason being that most of us are over sixty and not in the best of health. That and the fact that the nurses need access to the residents as well... When needed....

  • I am writing for assistance with the parking problem experienced by me and the other residents of Warwick Way , Station Road, Wickham. I moved in a couple of weeks ago and was given to understand that there was on street parking. Unfortunately this is only for 40 mins ? There is a layby outside the properties with enough room for 6 cars which would serve the residents of the properties well always assuming you can get in there anyway . On Sundays it is impossible to park there fair enough, but there is also no space in the Meon Trail Car park down the road and around the corner due to the popularity of the amenities Wickham offers. I am requesting that we are able to apply for resident parking permits for the spaces in Station road without the need to move our vehicle after 40 minutes. If I have contacted the wrong department please can you let me know to whom I should make this request and /or any other steps I should take.. I might add the two end properties have managed to make parking spaces on their front gardens but this is not an option for us but could so easily be remedied by allowing us to park in the 40 minute layby without fear of penalty. I look forward to hearing from you
