Debris on shared cycle/footpath
Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 22:46, Thu 29 April 2021
Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2698944.
The new housing development on the Wootton road is well underway. There are many large vehicles delivering building supplies. The path and road opposite the delivery site has become filthy with sand, gravel, mud etc. A slip and skid risk. Currently the road is closed for major pipe work but when it re opens will need cleaning. Can regular sweeping of the path also be done until the works are finished?

The cycle/foot path is littered with debris. Made worse by the building site opposite. Hedge also needs trimming back again.

This path is getting steadily worse. The debris has increased due to the building site opposite, mud and rocks/gravel. I cycle this route 3 times a week sometimes more and its now becoming difficult. Definite skid hazard now. The vegetation is also a problem. The pedestrian side of the path has vanished (separate report for this has been submitted ). As a matter of urgency the path needs sweeping and sweeping regularly whilst building is going on .
