Grit bin not there any more. My wall dented substantially

Reported via desktop in the Grit Bin - damaged/replacement category anonymously at 16:57, Wednesday 28 April 2021 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later

Overnight 27th/28th April the grit bin at Portway Croughton disappeared and a substantial dent appeared in my wall. Apparently the bin was hit by a large vehicle making some kind of manouvre around the junction / mini roundabout and seems to have driven off possibly with the bin still attached and leaving a section of damaged boundary wall. This as far as I have been told happened around 0300hrs but neither me or my wife heard a thing. Presume the bin will need replacing but would like to liaise with the council that I repair the wall before a new bin is re sited in front of it. Thank you.

Grit bin by the roundabout, not the parish council controlled one further down the road.
