The bridge abutments adjacent to the Mill Stream channel (Goring side of bridge, close to Goring Lock, grid ref SU5972480802) appear to be suffering from erosion, possibly made worse in Winter 2021 flood event. Pipework is exposed (sewer/storm water?) on left bank side. On other side of Mill Stream abutment erosion present under the abutment (next to parking under bridge used by local residents). Hole under abutment large enough to fit a book under.
