Tree Preservation Order application

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 09:15, Mon 26 April 2021

Sent to Mid Suffolk District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2691281.

English Oak tree of high value BS cat: A, BS sub cat:1 Estimated remaining contribution: 40+. Height: 18m. This is a fantastic example of an english oak and deserves protection for the future. It has ivy cover suitable for invertebrates and other mammals. There is also another oak tree of equal value and much taller at 24m which is opposite the road on the right if you continue heading towards Brooks farm. It would be fantastic to protect bot threes as they add huge value to the look of the village as well as the obvious carbon store, and home to the local wildlife.
