Pedestrian crossing lights activate without pedestrians

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights category anonymously at 09:57, Friday 23 April 2021

Sent to Edinburgh City Council less than a minute later

The crossing lights on St Johns road before Featherhall Ave come on about every two minutes for some time when there is no-one crossing and after the school rush has been and gone. It may be that someone pressed button and this triggers an on-off scenario for some time. When traffic is bought to a stop it takes some time to go through so can cause back up to Drum Brae south roundabout (this morning approx 4 cars were going through before lights went red again). Noticed this for months but traffic was so reduced with lockdown. Now needs to be fixed ASAP please.
