Inconsiderate parking from 4pm

Reported via mobile anonymously at 17:52, Tue 20 April 2021

Sent to Torbay Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2682270.

My partner was unable to use her mobility scooter and I had to park my car several Streets away, I presume the owner/driver

Was working in one of the properties in the street or in one of the properties behind the gate at end of the road ( where there is adequate vehicle parking) next to a flight of steps, this problem has occurred several times previously to today, as my partner has mobility problems she will need access via our front door to the street for her mobility scooter, I did notice one significant thing. That the vehicle was a highway maintenance one

Updates

  • The problem is resolved but in this street there is an ongoing problem of limited parking in the road( exacerbated by a regularity horizontally parked white van- owned by someone who lives in ellacombe church road-and his garages are not always occupied- he denotes a ‘no parking area in front-denoted by solid white line
