Traffic lights not working properly

Coming from St Mary's Rd today, the lights at the railway bridge are not changing properly. We waited for about 5 minutes whilst we saw cars coming from the Desborough Rd direction come to a halt, then come through, then come to a halt again and this was repeated whilst the lights on our side were continually on red. We only got through when cars in front decided to jump the red when no cars were coming.
