Cars parked inconsiderately.

Reported via mobile in the Parking on street category anonymously at 20:22, Sunday 18 April 2021

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

50 cars parked all along Dexter Lane between 12 noon and about 3.30pm on all grass verges. Went and asked Sarah at Lucky Tails if she would ask some visitors to move their cars so we could cut our lawn and hedge. Nothing was done. Nice to see a local business doing well but no respect or courtesy for neighbours. Very difficult to walk home safely due to traffic. Equally dangerous to drive as many unsupervised children running into the road. Lots of litter left behind. Major concerns about the amount of people not social distancing and bringing Covid to this area.

Updates

  • It’s a continual problem as well as being a health and safety issue with the number of parked cars especially at weekends but also the continual damage to grass verges that will take months to recover if ever. Other businesses would not be allowed to have parking as appalling as it is.
