The lane between florida ave and cathcart rd has a derelict look about .
Reported via mobile in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 18:58, Sat 17 April 2021
Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2676652.
The trees are overgrown, there is now a heavy branch broken and hanging over the lane. The wooden retaining fence is broken. The trees from top to bottom of lane are so over grown that natural daylight is reduced. Its such a pity as this will be one route to hampden visitors to our city will use during the Euros.

It's actually in a worse state now. As we head into autumn return of dark nights. Overgrown trees blocking out the already weak lighting. The mess on the lane has become a hazard due to it now being wet. At some point somebody will slip and suffer an injury. The hedging is again overgrown which is another hazard. In present condition it does pose a danger to any use.

Wth the moss building up in parts it's very slippy. One of my family actually slipped two weeks ago. It's in a dangerous state, slippy, dark due to poor lighting and overgrown trees, overgrown hedging, small potholes, retaining woodwork at Parkside rotten and broken lying around, weeds out of control

The clocks go back at end of month. Dark nights increase chance of slipping on wet surface.. lighting is poor due to overgrown trees. Not many people will feel safe using lane.

Some lights that work just show how poor the others are. Darkness is wth us. Need to be brave or stupid to use the lane at night

As winter arrives the risk to slipping increases. Have reported problem wth lighting on council website but nothing done. Recently there have been several big games at hampden. This has meant crowds using lane. Resulted in cans, bottles debris left lying around. Lane worse than ever

Now realise this lane is ignored by the council. Cannot get the street lighting repaired, despite a report logged. The lampposts all have a tie wrap holding the cover to electric wiring. Such a risk to all. Dark and dismal. Only bit of optimism I have is that eventually the days will get longer. But not as long as one waits for a council repair .

The lane is becoming worse. Bottles and debris still lying after recent football at hampden. Various things now dumped in lane. Have included photos of easy access to electrical wiring for lighting. Real risk to all especially as rainwater can get into wiring

As time goes by I become more convinced that this lanes lighting, rubbish tip, leaves from yesteryear, debris, over grown trees and bushes, risk to all who use the lane will never be resolved . It's depressing state of affairs

Lane just gets worse, would be surprised if anyone associated wth glasgow council actually care. During summer wth concerts at hampden visitors from outside the city will experience this dark dismal, rubbish strewn Lane as their welcome to our city. Shame on the council

Place is a shambles, worse than ever, as stated before a main passage for people going to hampden for events. What a disgrace

One lamp post still has electric wiring exposed. Now somebody has put a bottle against wiring. The lane is in such a poor, dark sad state.

Nothing done to improve area, broken lamppost with exposed wiring now has a wine bottle next to live cables. The lane is used for pedestrian traffic to and fro hampden events. Debris left behind is building up in overgrown, dark, poorly lit lane. Such a shame as this is well used but can be risky to walk on at night

Nothing further to add other than to say with the rainy season starting the lane can be quite slippy due to moss. Wth the dark days it's a risk to use this lane
