This has been happening weekly for months as around 10 to 20 youths meet on a Friday or Saturday night to drink, smoke and leave rubbish, especially broken glass, all across both the cycle track and especially the path. This is extremely dangerous for small children, dogs walkers and cyclists.

Updates

  • Yes, the problem was fixed but today, 8/5, broken glass is once again on the cycle track. This issue still occurs and maybe needs addressing with the help of the police.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Just walked past 8 youths, again smoking something but not cigarettes, discarding their beer cans etc on the path and cycle track. It's only 10 past 6 in the early evening, on Friday the 30th of July.
