Sent to Bedford Borough Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 265921.
There is a tree outside 11/13 Sandy Road, Bedford that is touching phone cables and could potentially damage said cables if left. This was recently reported and someone from the council came to inspect it but nothing has been done about it still.

Still untouched by the council and the tree has of course grown higher in 8 weeks touching the phone cables even more now. I did email the council approx a week ago and have received no reply.
Maybe once the tree damages the cables and BT bills the council for the cost of the repairs then they might wish they had sorted it when they were told about it.
I give up!

I cannot believe this hasn't been dealt with after 3 months and a few emails from me asking when it will be sorted. The tree has of course grown taller now and is touching the cables even more now. I got no replies to my emails by the way.

Some workmen did come a few weeks ago, however, they trimmed branches from the BOTTOM of the tree not the top!!!!!! Typical Council workmen!
Still waiting for the top to be trimmed away from the cables.
